John Lomasney

GALLUP — Services are pending for John William Lomasney, 63.

Lomasney died Saturday, April 23, in Gallup. He was born March 29, 1948, in Germany.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

William Tom Sr.

TSEYATOH — Funeral services for William L. Tom Sr., 54, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, at Rollie Mortuary. The Rev. Hawthorne will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery, Gallup. Visitation wil be 9-10 a.m., April 22, at Rollie Mortuary.
Tom died April 18, 2011, in Tseyatoh. He was born May 28, 1955, in Gallup, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

Tom received his GED and was a carpenter. He enjoyed exercising and visiting with family members.

Survivors include his sons, Shannon Tom, Donovan Tom, Travis Tom, Liam Tom; daughters, Leandra Tom, Aralynn Tom, April Tom, Mariam Tom, Amberlynn Tom; mother, Pearl Tom; brothers, Wilford Tom, Wilbert Tom Sr., George Tom, Rueben Tom Jr., Gilbert Tom; sisters, Nellie Yazza, Annabel Tom, Susie Cooke, Josephine Lucio, Laverne Barton, Shirley Norton, Shiela Tso; six grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his son, William Tom Jr.; father, Ruben Tom Sr.; grandparents, Joe Harrison, Nellie Lowe; Wilbert “Potsie” Tom.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Tom, Donovan Tom, Liam Tom, Calvin Henry, Rueben Tom Jr., Matthew Norton.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Navajo Baptist Church, Mentmore, following services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to sister, Annabel Tom.
